Buss da GEMS

you know it’s a quality interview when Westwood isn’t asking questions and lets a guy such as Bussa Buss drop insights, knowledge, stories all from his own personal experience & observation.

i’m glad that Busta touched on the gap between the beginning of hip-hop and where it’s gotten to now; its current juncture. it’s important that guys like Buss are around “to remind,” like he said and spoke of Q-Tip and the other “gatekeepers” of the culture.

P.S. Busta Rhymes i.m.o, is definitely one of the greatest rappers in hip-hop to touch it. nothing but respect for an OG such as him, 25 years in; with it being such a blessing to have him still relevant and willing to contribute to what’s going on; feeling discontent with what he’s done for the ting thus far. and if his next album is really what he’s cracking it up to be, then i’m supe-r-eady to hear what he threw in the cauldron.

what was going on with Westwood’s hand, though?

Shows are rare these days. When I say rare, I’m saying… If you’re a fan of LIVE events, how many of those would you tell me ’til I got how passionate you were about making me believe you, would you say were worthy of being given that [title]? How many were SHOWS?

Have gotta thank the WWF for giving me an unforgettable moment (Wrestlemania X-Seven) that as a now 21-year-old still gives me the nostalchills. Whoever was behind the scenes working on that matchcard and the production… Thank you for making my childhood pop and giving me something to forever be in awe of.

Why I started. Why I continue.

Just got the notification today to say it’s been a year. So, I’m thinking like ok, I gotta write something. Originally, I had a plan to thank all people who’ve contributed or supported along the way — but then I remembered who I am… I’m Lewis Sinclair, pshh — taking things a step further is what I do; it’s in my nature, my blood. And so, though there’s a LOT to tell about me as a person, I thought I’d really give the world ME today. Expect blunt honesty, and possibly not my most discreet side (notsorry Professionals *smiles*). I’ll try to keep this story short (not happening), it’s no guarantee telling how long it’ll be...
